Standby To Shoot
Set In Motion
I have been blessed enough to have been apart of some beautiful crews during my two years at college.
So far, I have completed ten 2-4 minute short films, two long(er) 10-15 minute short films, a documentary and various other projects.
Over the course of these college project films, I have taken up roles in various departments such as Director, DOP, First Camera Assistant, Lighting Assistant, Boom OP/Sound Mixer, head of props/set dresser and producer.
I’ve also worked in studio environments where we built our own sets from scratch; during those shoots I undertook the roles of being a floor manager and a camera operator.
Outside of college, I have been lucky enough to be an intern AD for West Cork Film Studios, and a production assistant with TG4.
Some of my favourite projects are below!
This was a creative piece I directed in which we were given the task to conduct an interview using a puppet.
RAVENOUS
“Six months after a zombie outbreak, a mother hides a deadly bite from her son. Survival is everything—but at what cost? Love won’t save you from the infection”

The Morning Chills
Directed By Serena Clarke
The Morning Chills, directed by Serena Clarke, is a surreal short film exploring displacement and identity through the eyes of a young immigrant in Ireland. After falling asleep on the phone to her mother, she wakes up in the middle of a strange field—disoriented, alone, and unsure how she got there.
As the boom operator and sound mixer, I captured the film’s emotional intimacy while navigating a highly atmospheric outdoor set—complete with a real bed we built from scratch. The unique set design blurred the line between dream and reality, grounding the film’s haunting themes in a visceral, natural space.

Erring Entity- directed by Alice Boeg
He picked the wrong house.
As the creator of Erring Entity, I crafted a slow-burn narrative built on suspense and claustrophobic tension. The confined setting and minimal cast allowed the story’s creeping dread to take centre stage, culminating in a brutal revelation that leaves the viewer questioning who the real monster is.
Planning
Erring Entity has been the one most ambitious project Ive ever written and directed. It was my own 2-4 minute short film I directed and edited to submit for my second year of college.
I really wanted to experiment with lighting and heavy colour grading. Jack has warm undertones and the thief has cool. When the two characters meet on screen this creates a really disgusting uncertain yellowish queasy colour which has the effect of uneasiness on the audience.
I had a very ambitious 73 shots to complete in one day, which we got done in five hours. The planning for Erring Entity was extensive to say the least- I had the lovely Callum Walsh who is very talented in graphic design create newspaper props which I had Jack read on set- and for at least a month after I didn’t want to touch a story board.
I would however, like to think it paid off. I had an exact idea of what I wanted the final edit to look like- which made the filming process a hundred times easier.
Working with actors as patient as Micheal Browne and Lucas Schonneman really make all the difference.
Have a look at cut to the frame for the trailer :)
